The currently available Network facility is supported by various kinds of hardware, namely: 54 switch manageable units, 89 Unit Access Point (AP) for wifi (hotspot), and more than 100 unmanageable network hardware that covers services on all campuses (Ciumbuleuit, Merdeka, Nias, Aceh). As for the internet facility, UNPAR is currently subscribed to two Internet Service Providers (ISP) one of them acting as backup (redundant). The total bandwidth for UNPAR in 2015 is 615 Mbps which is divided into 240 Mbps for the International Line and 375 Mbps for the Domestic Line (IIX). And for theinter-campus network (wide-area Network), the allocated bandwidth is 100 Mbps.
Every student and member of staff will receive an email account (30GB storage capacity) that can be used to access Information Technology and Computer Facilities such as: the student portal, e-learning, library online public access catalogue or other information systems.
