TRIBUNJABAR.ID, BANDUNG – Sales of products do not always talk about profit and loss alone.
There are also some people who sell products with the goal of social care in mind.
There are three students of Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar) Bandung, namely Sasha Shelomita, Yerenia Haerlin, Aliya Rizka, Yoan Tjahyono and Aloysius Susanto who made a tumbler product (Drinking bottle for traveling) in order to campaign for children’s rights.
“We created a business in a social business developed in a business simulation course, our business name is Andogia,” Sasha said when contacted by Tribun Jabar via telephone on Monday (30/4/2018).
The sold tumblers, Sasha continued, have inspiring pictures and stories, while also helping children to channel their imaginations and creativity.
The pictures were made by children when Andogia conducted counseling to schools.
“During this counseling process children and parents are invited to draw using crayons on paper as a tumbler design that will be sold,” Sasha said.
When counseling in PAUD Kencana, he continued, the imagination and creativity of children not only stop until their ideas are conveyed to the teacher but it also can be valuable business and help people to understand the rights of children who have been ignored often.
“People who buy Andogia tumblers are expected to support the campaign about the negative impact of child abuse,” Sasha said.
Andogia had participated in exhibitions several times to sell their tumbler products.
Finally, they decided to sell it at Start Up Fest 2018 held at Cihampelas Walk Mall, on April 21-22, 2018.
“In the Start-Up Fest 2018 at Cihampelas Walk, Andogia tumbler products received a positive response from visitors who came. They did not just buy, but also wished to engage in child-friendly family programs, “said Sasha.
