On the 26th of August 2014, delegation of West Nias Local Government with Stichting Parahyangan Nederland held a visitation to Parahyangan Catholic University. This visitation was conducted regarding the discussion about the partnership between UNPAR and West Nias Local Government, as well as UNPAR and Stiching Parahyangan Netherland (SPN).
Stichting Parahyangan Netherland (SPN) is cooperation between UNPAR Foundation for Sustainable Funds with donors from the Netherlands in bestowing scholarships to students in need, exclusively students from rural and disadvantages areas in Indonesia, such as Nias, Aceh, and Papua. In this opportunity, several forms of cooperation were initiated such as scholarships, infrastructure development in Nias, as well as training and implementation of infrastructure project.
It is expected that this visitation could strengthen the relationship and cooperation with the related parties in the future.
