Indonesia National Law No. 14 Year 2005 regarding about teacher and lecturer, Article 51 Paragraph (1) Item b stated that teacher and lecturer are attain to the right of gaining promotion and appreciation relevant to their academic performance. The awarding system regarding the aspiration and motivation in the circle of lecturer are expected to be one of the ways to improve academic management in universities.
A proper appreciation was given to lecturers that have gain accomplishments in university’s tridarma. With this award, it is expected to encourage lecturers to perform and achieve more productively.
